Emergency relief for students

In order to help students affected by the health crisis, the Prime Minister announced three emergency relief measures for students.

  • Aide exceptionnelle de solidarité: emergency relief of 150 euros for grant-holders. There is no need to apply. The payment will be made at the same time as the December grant payment. It may also be awarded to certain young people under 25 years old (apprentices, salaried or non-students) who receive the APL and will be paid from 27 November by the CAF.
  • The doubling of emergency financial aid that will be available to 45,000 additional young people (grant and non-grant holders) for housing and food. This allowance will be paid out by the CROUS.
  • The creation of 20,000 jobs for tutors to support first-year students and students who may be in difficulty, for a period of 4 months (from December to March).
