This year's General Assembly of the Magalhães Network is being hosted by Universidad de Los Andes and Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, in Bogotá, Colombia on 19-20 November.
The Magalhães Network connects leading technical universities in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
More than 50 representatives of the partner universities are working on the development of internationalization in higher education with a particular focus on joint PhD programmes. It is likely that the co-tutelle model will become an important tool in developing international cooperation in research and PhD programmes.
