Centrale Nantes at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games: Gildas Guiheneuf in the French sitting volleyball team

Gildas Guiheneuf has been teaching sport at Centrale Nantes since 2008, specialising in volleyball.

He played competitive volleyball until 2010. After an accident, he had to give up competing until a meeting with the coach of the French sitting volleyball team dealt him a new hand.

Gildas has now been playing with the team for 2 years.
With the team, he has taken part in the European Championships, the Bronze Nations League and the World Cup in November 2023.

He also plays for the Neptunes de Nantes Volley-Ball club.

Alongside the 12 players selected, Gildas Guiheneuf will be taking part in the Paralympic Games for the first time.

The French team's first match is on 29 August!
