Centrale Nantes maintains its standing in the 2021 Times Higher Education World University Rankings

Centrale Nantes maintains its standing in the 401-500 grouping of the world’s top universities in the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021, which are published today. On industry income Centrale Nantes is ranked 122nd globally.

Out of the 1527 institutions ranked worldwide by Times Higher Education, Centrale Nantes is positioned in the top 500 globally, 15th in France and in the top 6 French engineering schools.

To join this elite circle, five major performance indicators are used evaluate institutions: teaching, research, citations, industry income and international outlook.

Centrale Nantes performed particularly well on two of the indicators:
 
  • Industry income: 4th French institution and 122nd globally
  • International outlook: 5th French institution and 149th globally

This prestigious ranking reinforces Centrale Nantes' position on the international stage and we are honoured by this fine recognition of the work carried out by all our teams. Furthermore, our performance on industry income underlines the quality of the industrial partnerships in which the school is involved. Our objective remains the same: pursuit of excellence driven by high level, high quality teaching and increasingly innovative research projects.
