Conference - The mining rush of the 21st century: an investigation into metals in the era of transitions, with Célia Izoard

Célia Izoard is an investigative journalist who has carried out a major investigation into the extraction of mining resources.

In her latest book, La Ruée minière au XXIe siècle. Enquête sur les métaux à l'ère de la transition, she warns of the social and environmental consequences of an extractivism justified by the development of technologies for ecological transition.

The conference is open to all. it will be held in French.

It will take place at Centrale Nantes on Thursday 27 March 2025, in Lecture Theatre A, from 10.15am to 12.15pm.
