[POSTPONED] Conference - What is techno-solutionism? with philosopher Catherine Larrère

This event is postponed to a later date (t.b.a).

On January 9, 2025 from 10:15 To 12:15

Catherine Larrère, philosopher and specialist in environmental ethics, will be at Centrale Nantes to discuss techno-solutionism.

A philosopher specialising in the relationship between man and nature, Catherine Larrère advocates for a just and sustainable ecological transition, through the establishment of an ethic to protect the environment. In her latest book, L'écoféminisme (2023), she explores how ecology and feminist struggles come together. In her talk, she will help us to understand the challenges of technological solutions to ecological crises and their social and ethical impact.

The conference is open to all. It will be held in French. It will take place at Centrale Nantes on Thursday 9 January 2025 in Lecture Theatre A, from 10.15am to 12.15pm.
