Ecological Transition Mornings - “Participative Democracy" - a conference with Claire Morcant and William Aucant
On November 16, 2021 All day
Conference on 16 November 2021
We are delighted to welcome Claire Morcant and William Aucant, both members of the Convention Citoyenne pour le Climat (Citizens' Climate Convention). This convention, formed in October 2019, brings together 150 randomly selected French citizens and aims "to define a series of measures to achieve at least a 40% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 (compared to 1990) in a spirit of social justice."
They will tell us about their experience of taking part in the convention. The conference will be followed by a Q&A session.
The conference will be organised on Zoom, and broadcast in Lecture Theatre A.
If you wish to participate (open to staff and students at Centrale Nantes), please register via this link: https://bit.ly/les-matinales-14e
You will receive the link to the conference by email if you wish to participate by zoom.
