Adjunct Professor at Centrale Nantes: Yuri Shtessel
Yuri Shtessel, Emeritus Professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (USA) and Adjunct Professor at Centrale Nantes, will be present at the LS2N Laboratory from 10 to 30 October.
from October 10, 2022 to October 30, 2022
Prof. Yuri Shtessel is an internationally recognized expert in the robust control of nonlinear dynamical systems, with applications in aeronautics, defence and energy. Emeritus Professor at the University of Alabama, Yuri Shtessel was appointed adjunct professor at Centrale Nantes in September 2021.
During his stay on campus from 10 to 30 October, he will work with Professors Malek Ghanes and Franck Plestan on stability margins for nonlinear systems, on the notion of generalized relative degree in the context of sliding mode control and will participate in the activities of the Renault Chair on electric vehicles.
