Join in the fun on 26 September for the Nantes University back-to-school festival
Celebrate the start of the new academic year with Nantes Université (of which Centrale Nantes is a component institution) back-to-school festival. The festival takes place on 26 September, on the Ile de Nantes campus. This is an opportunity to welcome and bring together this new community of students and staff.

After two consecutive years on the Tertre campus, this year the festival will be held on the Île de Nantes campus, in the heart of the creative district, at Halle 6 Ouest, École des Beaux-Arts de Nantes and Halle 1 and 2. This year's event is open to the entire Nantes student community. Students from outside Nantes University, are welcome! Celebrations and entertainment will take place from 4pm to midnight.

Tours for inquisitive and civic-minded visitors
The Department of Culture and Initiatives and Lab Citoyen will be offering guided tours on foot or by bike.
- by bike: departing at 4.15pm for a 2.5 hour tour - registration required
- on foot: departures at 5pm, 5.30pm and 6pm for a 1-hour tour
An open stage with nine student productions
Before the summer, nine musical and artistic projects by university students were selected to perform on the festival's open stage. You can discover them from 6.00 pm on the Halles 1 and 2 stage.Creative musical acts on stage
Around ten artists from a wide range of musical backgrounds (pop, electro, hip hop, etc.) and geographical locations will be sharing the stages at Halles 6 Ouest, Halles 1 & 2 and the Askip community bar.
