A Club of CEntrale Nantes for Travelling Students

The ‘My thesis in 180 seconds’ (MT180) competition gives PhD students the opportunity to present their research topic in simple terms, in three minutes, to a diverse audience. The aim of this science outreach challenge is to make science accessible to everyone, while highlighting the work of young researchers. In Nantes, the local qualifying round for this competition has become a major science outreach event, organised by Nantes Université since 2017. Every year, more than 550 people gather at Stereolux to watch the PhD students' presentations. This year, the regional final will be held in Angers on 18 March 2025. The winners of the local qualifiers, in particular the Nantes qualifier, will be taking part in the hope of qualifying for the national and even international finals.
