The ‘My thesis in 180 seconds’ (MT180) competition gives PhD students the opportunity to present their research topic in simple terms, in three minutes, to a diverse audience. The aim of this science outreach challenge is to make science accessible to everyone, while highlighting the work of young researchers.
Mathilde Theunissen, a PhD student in the LS2N Laboratory at Centrale Nantes, is through to the regional final of the MT180. She will have 180 seconds to convince the public to win the one and only place for the national final. Mathilde Theunissen's PhD focuses on Multi-robot localisation and navigation for infrastructure maintenance.
The regional final will be held on Tuesday 18 March 2025 at the Pathé cinema in Angers, at 7pm.
This event is organised by Nantes University, in partnership with the Pays de la Loire Doctoral College, France Université and the CNRS. The event is supported by the European ERDF fund, Nantes Métropole and the City of Nantes.
