National Science Fair 2024: visit the Seas & Oceans Campus
As part of the National Science Fair (Fête de la science), which will focus on the theme of ‘Ocean of Knowledge’ in 2024, and in the context of the Year of the Sea (2024-2025), the institutions on the ‘Maritime Campus’ - Centrale Nantes, Ifremer and the École Nationale Supérieure Maritime - are coming together and jointly opening their premises to visitors under the banner ‘Seas & Oceans Campus’. We are open to the public from 10 am to 5.30 pm on Saturday 12 October 2024.

Come along and discover the Centrale Nantes, l'École supérieure nationale maritime (ENSM) and Ifremer campuses whether you are a science enthusiast, a prospective student or simply curious. The programme includes visits to the laboratories and teaching platforms, student projects, scientific conferences, exhibitions, workshops, etc. Ifremer is also organising information stands on the Ocean, alongside the project leaders it hosts on its site.

Friday 11 October
AM - The morning is set aside at Centrale Nantes for its students to visit the research platformsPM - Middle and secondary school groups only (registration required)
Saturday 12 October
10.00am - 5.30pm - Centrale Nantes, ENSM and Ifremer open their doors to the public. Free entry.- 2.00 pm: Presentation of our Engineering programme - with Frédéric GRONDIN, Dean of Studies
- 3.00 pm: "Maritime transport: goodbye carbon!" - with Pierre MARTY, senior lecturer at the LHEEA and co-organiser of the CARGO cluster
- 4.00 pm: Presentation of our Bachelor programmes: Bachelor of Science in Engineering and BBA Big Data & Management - with Luisa DA SILVA (co-director of the BBA)
