Professor Ahmed Loukili appointed member of the board of directors of the Ecole Française du Béton
Prof. Ahmed LOUKILI, Centrale Nantes, was appointed member of the Board of Directors of the Ecole Française du Beton on November 27th.

The Ecole Française du Béton is a corporate foundation which provides long term support for any action or activity which improves the body of knowledge on concrete. Prof. Ahmed Loukili represents higher education and research, and he also sits on the scientific council of the foundation.
At Centrale Nantes, Mr. Ahmed LOUKILI is responsible for teaching courses on cementitious materials and for research into the behaviour and durability of cementitious materials in the Research Institute of Civil and Mechanical Engineering.
In 2009 Ahmed Loukili was recognised alongside his team, with the Prix Chercheur des Trophées de la Fédération Nationale des Travaux Publics (Researcher of 2009, French National Federation of Public Works award).
He has been the chair of the Edycem Teaching and Research Chair (Groupe Herige) on innovative concrete since 2015.
He has almost 70 international publications, over 100 international conference papers and numerous book chapters to his name.
