Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2024: Centrale Nantes is ranked in the top 300 for Engineering

Of the 1374 institutions ranked in the world by the Times Higher Education in the field of engineering, Centrale Nantes is ranked in the top 300 for 2024. This places the school in third place for engineering schools in France.

Centrale Nantes is also ranked in the top 500 worldwide for 2024 in both physical sciences and computer science

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject employ the same range of performance indicators used in its overall World University Rankings - in which Centrale Nantes performs consistently well on industry income and international outlook, in particular - but the methodology is recalibrated to suit the individual fields. It highlights the universities that are leading across mathematics, statistics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, geology, environmental sciences, and earth and marine subjects.
