Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2025: Centrale Nantes ranked for Engineering, Physical Sciences and Computer Science

Of the 1488 institutions ranked in the world by the Times Higher Education in the field of engineering, Centrale Nantes is ranked in the top 400 for 2025. This places the school in 3rd place for engineering schools in France.

Centrale Nantes is also ranked in the top 500 and top 600 worldwide for 2025 in computer science and physical sciences respectively.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject employ the same range of performance indicators used in its overall World University Rankings - in which Centrale Nantes performs consistently well on industry income and international outlook, in particular - but the methodology is recalibrated to suit the individual fields. It highlights the universities that are leading across mathematics, statistics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, geology, environmental sciences, and earth and marine subjects.
