A photo of the SEM-REV in the Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris
A photo of FLOATGEN, on SEM-REV, Centrale Nantes's offshore test site, is on display until 14 July at the gates of the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris.
From May 18, 2020 to July 15, 2020 All day
In 2019, the magazine Usine Nouvelle organised a photo competition on the theme "Industry seen from the sky". The competition was designed for engineering students, young engineers in post for less than five years and employees of industrial firms with their head office in France.
Centrale Nantes took part in this competition with a photo by Yves Perignon of the SEM-REV team (Centrale Nantes-CNRS). This photo of FLOATGEN, the first floating offshore wind turbine in France - a project bringing together Idéol, Centrale Nantes and Bouygues TP - was taken after the YUKON storm in May 2019.
This photo is one of the 2 winners of the competition and will be exhibited on the railings of the Jardin du Luxembourg from 14 March to 14 July 2020.
