Adjunct professors
The school has set up this particular role in order to retain and optimise the contribution of a certain number of professors from outside the institution who have an international reputation. A number of professors have been appointed since 2019:

- Centrale Nantes appoints it first Adjunct Professor: Professor Suresh G. Advani, University of Delaware, USAJune 11, 2018A pioneer in the field of upstream and applied research on composite materials in the USA, Prof. Suresh G. Advani is a leading scientist of international stature in this field. A ceremony was held today at Centrale Nantes to mark his appointment as adjunct professor.
