Getting to Nantes

You can travel directly by plane via the international Nantes Atlantique airport.
If you land at Paris-Charles de Gaulle or at Orly airports, there is a direct TGV (high-speed train) to Nantes. You can book your train ticket on http://en.voyages-sncf.com/en/
 

Getting to Centrale Nantes

From the train station
From the north exit of the station, take the tram line 1, towards F. Mitterand. Get off at the Commerce stop. To get to Centrale Nantes, take tram Line 2, towards Orvault Grand-Val, and get off at the Ecole Centrale/Audencia stop. Centrale Nantes is right next to the tram stop. One ticket costs €1.90. It is valid for one hour after you stamp it and can also be used on the regular bus and trams.


From the airport
Nantes Atlantique international airport is situated about 10 km southwest of Nantes. There is a Tan shuttle bus (navette aéroport) which for €9 will take you downtown, either to the train station or to Place du Commerce. From here you can take tram line 2 as above.
A taxi from the airport - the easiest option - will cost about €50. You can take a taxi from the rank in front of the airport or book ahead with, for example:
