MEA & AFLOWT Innovation Tour
Come & join the MEA and AFLOWT Innovation Tour on the 29th and 30th of June in Nantes (France) and discover more about offshore renewables!
The Innovation Tour will provide the attendees with a background knowledge in offshore renewables (fixed and floating wind, tidal, wave, floating solar, etc.) through a mix of training sessions and technical visits.You will get a chance to go at sea to visit the offshore SEM-REV test site, including FLOATGEN, the first floating offshore wind turbine in France. The visit will also include the Saint Nazaire offshore wind farm, first French commercial project currently being installed.
Eager to meet the finest offshore renewables companies? This two-day event is a unique opportunity to meet large companies (e.g., SAIPEM, developing the floating foundation Hexafloat), SMEs and start-ups developing innovative technologies to accelerate the market uptake of the offshore renewables sector. Come and meet them through dedicated pitch sessions and networking slots.

This event is organized by Centrale Nantes, SEM REV and WEAMEC as part of the MEA and AFLOWT projects, both financially supported by Interreg North-West Europe.

- 07.15am | Departure from Nantes by bus to Le Croisic
- 09.00am | Offshore visit by boat, with the SEM REV team
- FLOATGEN, floating wind turbine, developped by BW Ideol chief technology officer
- Fixed wind turbines at Saint Nazaire offshore wind farm, with EDF-EN project manager
- 12.00pm | Lunch in the Croisic Port
- 1.30pm | Return by bus to Nantes: stop at the airport then train station
