The Product Design and Industrial Systems Department is responsible for the following courses:First year engineering programme courses:
- Product Design and Development
- Tutored Partner Project (P2T) - 60 projects per year
Engineering programme specialisations:
- Industrial Engineering
- Innovative and sustainable products and processes
- Low-Tech Engineering - sustainable housing techniques - a project-based specialisation

Degree apprenticeships: Industrial engineering courses.
The department also manages the workshops in buildings I and P and the virtual reality platform in building B.
