After two years at Centrale Nantes, I opted for a double diploma, enrolling for a two-year programme - "Master Erasmus Mundus in Computational Mechanics" at the UPC in Barcelona (Spain) and Swansea University (Wales).

YOUR CURRENT POSITION

I work in the Mercedes AMG Formula 1 team, based in Brackley (United Kingdom), as a Mathematical Modeller. I am in charge, with a small team of five, of the development of digital models of the vehicle, as well as simulations used by designers, performance and race engineers. This allows me to stay as close to the latest innovations on the car, while maintaining an R&D activity in digital techniques. The regulations in Formula 1 change regularly, which pushes us to be always the best and innovate permanently. The position I currently occupies offers me a wide variety of tasks, which I wish to maintain in the medium term.

The multidisciplinary engineering education offered at Centrale Nantes is extremely beneficial, in addition to my specialisation in numerical simulation. It allows me to consider problems that have been given and not dealt with in the past or in the literature in a structured way and based on a broad and sound scientific foundation.
