- Graduate profiles,
Sagnik, Master's in City and Urban Environment, Class of 2017
I learned about Centrale Nantes from Campus France in Kolkata (India) and I applied to this graduate school because it gave me the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree with a specialization that was unique and in line with my career ambitions.
How was life in Nantes?
Nantes provides all the leisure and facilities an international student could ask for. Its beauty and friendly atmosphere provides the perfect setting to socialize, mingle and develop strong relationships with students from not only France, but also the rest the world. The most memorable aspect of my student life in Nantes was staying in the student residence and sharing a kitchen with other French and international students. In the shared kitchen, we created a very close group of international friends, which turned into a memorable "sitcom" experience.
And what about your studies at Centrale Nantes?
Centrale Nantes fulfils its promise to provide a rich international student experience not only in terms of background and but also experiences. The professors were very experienced and they supported us to find our final semester internship. I did mine in a startup company called ECOTEN urban comfort based in Prague, Czech Republic where I was able to apply my knowledge and skills acquired at Centrale Nantes.
What are you doing now?
Currently I am working as the CTO of ECOTEN urban comfort where I did my final semester internship. I have been working on developing and providing technical services based on the expertise that I gained directly from my master’s program in Centrale Nantes.
