"The university offers excellent facilities and its students make use of them by organising sporting and social events regularly. Also, there is a residence for first-year students that is located right next to the campus, so that they can walk to class."
"I chose Centrale Nantes because it seemed like the best option between the universities I was considering at the time. I was already living in France then, and I wanted to resume my studies and to continue practicing the language. ECN proposed an opportunity to do both."
What do you enjoy or find challenging about the programme so far?
"I particularly enjoyed the classes that taught skills that I wasn’t familiar with, such as programming and German. Their focus on the basics before adding complexity made it possible for me to progress quickly in them."
What about student life on campus / in Nantes?
"The university offers excellent facilities and its students make use of them by organising sporting and social events regularly. Also, there is a residence for first-year students that is located right next to the campus, so that they can walk to class."
Any advice for new applicants?
"I would advise new applicants to join a club of their choice once they begin their studies, especially if they don’t know French, since it’s the best way to learn it while maintaining their physical fitness and/or mental agility."
What are your plans for the future?
"In the future, I plan to continue pursuing my studies up to a Master’s degree, further specialising in engineering."
Centrale Nantes in 3 words?
"Merit - Adaptability - Research."
