MINI PORTRAIT
I started my studies in a priority education area in Vierzon, where I was awarded a merit scholarship, which financed part of my studies. I then joined Centrale Nantes, where I was able to develop my skills in fluid mechanics (Specialisation in Ocean: Hydrodynamics and Marine Engineering) and materials (semester in Milan).
YOUR CURRENT POSITION
I am working as Materials and Process Engineer for ACB in Nantes. My main role is to develop, characterize and promote the Line Friction Welding process, which offers welds of comparable quality to the raw material. I particularly like the multidisciplinary nature of the role – which ranges, for example, from undertaking workshop welding campaigns to presenting at international conferences (China, USA ...), but also the contact which others which is a daily feature of my work.My short and medium term career plan is to extend my work to more processes, in keeping with the Centrale multidisciplinary approach.
